Why do people feel the need to have a child?

My husband and I can't wait to have our 2nd. To be fair, tho, we are in our late 20's, financially sound and eco friendly. We can't afford to adopt and we want several children. I do understand why you are disgusted with the teenage parents, children should not be having sex. They are too immature to raise a child in a stable and sound environment.
