Should I go on vacation if I expect a job interview call soon?

I put in an application for a job that I really, really want. This is an extremely competitive position, and I am one of a handful of people who know about it and applied. I am feeling confident that I'll be called for an interview soon. The problem is, I'm leaving on a cruise in 11 days. Should I just cancel it now or do I try to explain the situation to them if they want me to come in on a date when I'll be away? I'm worried that asking them to work around my trip might cost me the job, but I don't want to cancel my trip and lose a lot of money unnecessarily, either.
