Why in dating columns 98% men advertise in India?

You read any newspaper or magazines published in India, and you will find there that almost all advertisements for dating or friendship are from the male side. No female is there. Are females not interested in friendship in India? Then why we male unnecessarily advertising one way? Shouldn't we stop here? And instead try for some other way for finding girlfriends?
