Why would she let me kiss her if she wasn't going to react at all?

i'm guessing she is feeling lonely and thats why she kissed u. she must love u too much as a friend and she doesn't want to lose u as a friend. things do get ugly when u start dating ur friend. u don't want to lose a good friend for something like that. good luck
