Why do christians think that homosexuality is being forced on society?

why do Christians have to be so unnecessarily authoritarian. no one should be able to tell others who they can and can't be with. and then they try to pull this whole "the bible is unquestionable" thing. excuse me? i don't know where christians think they live, but were allowed to question anything in a democracy.
