Is my friend "doomed to be lonely for life"?

I have a very close guy friend who's a "big guy", honestly I believe that's the only thing he has going against him because other than that he's an awesome person. He's divorced, left a bad relationship and now struggles to find a nice woman who doesn't just use him for his kindness, he's a hard worker and very active but he is a large guy and I think the women he meets like him but let his looks get in the way. He claims that he's "doomed to be lonely for life". Will he find a woman who can get past his looks and actually be proud to call him her man? Where can he meet nice women who are not so shallow?
