Did Mayweather really pay for Chicanito Hernandez funeral?

Well to be fair to Mayweather, he has done some good deeds before. I think he is smart enough not to over-sell it. I remember he was handing out some food or clothes to the homeless but aside from a news article mentioning such, I never heard him brag about it. I don't know if it was for tax deductions or improved press, or just being a good neighbor.
