Can someone please help me with my punctuation, PLEASE?

Currently I have joined the Open Universities Psychological Society, which I’m deeply enthusiastic about. During the summer I am hoping to attend an applied psychology conference at Warwick University. This will prove an invaluable experience as I will have the opportunity to learn about the latest research being undertaken from experts. I am particularly interested in learning more about the developmental neuropsychology of autism spectrum disorder as well as childhood anxiety disorders, the challenges deaf children face in learning to read and write, problems faced by children with working memory difficulties and how these children can be identified and assisted. This appeals to me as I personally feel that it’s absolutely crucial to identify and understand children who experience poor short term memory problems. This is because misunderstanding these children will have negative effects on their self confidence; leave them struggling unnecessarily which will ultimately result in underachievement. At the same time I also look forward to discovering more about Meiser-Stedman’s research into children with PTSD.
